About the role

The Salon Envy® Corpus Christi location needs a full-time salon manager who can run the floor, protect guest experience, and coach a commission team without creating the toxic competitiveness that plagues so many hair salons. You are the first escalation for guest concerns, the daily partner for supply and inventory, and the leader who makes sure the Front Desk, stylists, and ownership stay aligned. This is a salon manager job where you are expected to understand cosmetology language and state board expectations even if you are not behind the chair every day.

You will work with software tools like Square for checkout and scheduling, monitor booking channels, and watch key metrics: rebooking, retail attachment, and stylist utilization. The salon serves a high-intent local market, so the manager role includes reinforcing service standards, coaching time management, and making sure the salon presentation matches the brand guests see on the website. Houston expansion means strong Corpus leadership can become a long-term company role for the right person.

This listing targets Texas salon management talent who have already run teams of stylists, who understand how commission salons make money, and who know how to keep TDLR compliance visible on the floor. If you are comparing salon manager jobs in Corpus Christi, look for a track record in conflict resolution and schedule density — that is the daily work here, not a desk-only title.

What you will do

  • Lead huddles, set daily priorities, and coach stylists on service timing and rebooking without micromanaging.
  • Own front-desk flow, call routing, and guest recovery when a service or schedule issue needs leadership.
  • Track inventory, retail levels, and product orders; partner with ownership on cost-aware purchasing.
  • Oversee schedule density, call-outs, and fair coverage for peak Corpus Christi hours.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and TDLR verification alongside ownership for new stylists.
  • Maintain a calm, professional floor model that guests feel the moment they walk in.

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years of salon or spa management in a high-volume, service-driven environment.
  • Cosmetology license preferred; if unlicensed, you must have led licensed teams with credibility.
  • Experience with modern POS, ideally Square, plus comfort with online booking and review response.
  • Proven team leadership, scheduling discipline, and guest-first problem solving.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Corpus Christi with the flexibility owners need during launches.

What you will earn

Compensation is salary plus performance bonuses tied to team results and guest experience. The typical band discussed for comparable Texas salon management roles in our footprint is $45,000 to $60,000 depending on experience and scope, with a transparent conversation about hours and on-call expectations before you accept. A formal offer follows reference checks and alignment on start date and leadership style.

A day in the life

You open or close the salon, walk the floor for cleanliness and vibe, and review the day’s book with stylists so everyone knows the pressure points. A guest may need a same-day change; a stylist may need a quick consult on a correction. You protect time without dismissing safety. Midday, you check retail, follow up on supply orders, and make sure the front desk is not drowning. You end the day with notes to ownership: what worked, what did not, and what we fix tomorrow. It is a hands-on management role, not a back-office title.
